Grind on dedicated 5-axis CNC tool grinder per OEM drawing. Tolerance ±0.005mm.

Coating / Heat Treatment

Place into PVD/DLC chamber or heat treatment furnace per technical specs for each coating type. Verify thickness and adhesion post-coating.

QC & Dispatch

Measure diameter, length, inspect cutting edges under magnification. Package and return with inspection certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a carbide end mill with a broken tip be reground?
If the breakage is ≤3mm, we can grind it shorter and fully restore the geometry. Deeper breaks require a case-by-case assessment depending on the original diameter — send a photo first for a free consultation.
How long does each batch take?
Regrinding only (no coating): 24–48 business hours. Full regrind + PVD coating package: 3–5 business days depending on quantity and coating type. Rush orders can be arranged — contact us directly.
Which is better for hard steel — TiAlN or AlCrN?
AlCrN has superior heat resistance (up to 1100°C vs. 900°C for TiAlN), ideal for dry machining hardened steel >50 HRC or die casting molds. TiAlN is cost-effective for wet machining alloy steel and standard stainless steel.
Can tools be shipped from other provinces?
Yes. We accept nationwide courier shipments. Send photos and tool specs (original diameter, length, material, coating required) for a quote before physical shipment. Once confirmed, ship via J&T, GHTK, or ViettelPost.
How many times can a tool be reground?
A typical carbide endmill can be reground 3–5 times depending on wear level, original diameter, and tolerance requirements. Each regrind removes a small amount from the diameter or cutting length — we advise specifically when we receive the tool.
Can DLC coating be used for aluminum machining?
DLC is the optimal choice for aluminum, copper, and plastics. Hardness 4000 HV, low friction coefficient (0.1–0.15), non-reactive with aluminum so almost zero built-up edge. Combined with high helix flutes and high cutting speed for excellent aluminum surface finish.
